missing ticket in JIRA

Julien Buffet May 13, 2013

We have a problem with one of our JIRA ticket:

- When we try to start any action on this ticket in the Issues tab, we have the following error:

The JIRA server could not be contacted. This may be a temporary glitch or the server may be down.

- When we select the ticket in the Issues tab we have the below error:

Issue Does Not Exist
The issue you are trying to view does not exist.
If you think this message is wrong, please contact your JIRA administrators

It seems that the database is corrupted. The ticket has been deleted but a reference still exist in the database.

Do you a way to re-aligne the database ?

Regards,

Hi Julien,

If you suspect that the issue no longer exists in the database, then why not check there directly? ;) Use an SQL query in your database to check if the issue still exists.

You might also want to use the Database Integrity Checker to check if there are any inconsistencies in the data.

The actual error might be different. Check the logs to see what error you are getting when the issue is created.

Thanks a lot for your answer but I have tried re-indexing and it did not work.
