mark Active Directory users as inactive

Thomas Schachtner March 19, 2015

Hi there,

I was working with a test installatioin of JIRA and asked several people to make tests.

Now, we decided to go with a 10 users license, as it is sufficient for what we want to do with it.

Unfortunately, after installing the 10 users license, more than 10 users are marked as "active". Is there a way to mark Active Directory users as "incactive"? I know I could remove the whole Active directory and would get back all of my 10 licenses, but I would like to continue using the AD, just with a very limited number of users.

How can I do that?

Hi Thomas!

You could disable the users through the User Management panel in JIRA's Administration panel or you could remove groups in which these users are members from JIRA's Global Permissions.

information For more information on deactivating users, take a look at this document.
