I recently migrated from Old instance cloud to a new one. In the old JIRA instance, my role was of an administrator. When ever I did any type of activity in JIRA I never got any mail, but I got the activity mails of the other users.
In the current migrated instances, when ever I do any activity I get my own update mails. This is annoying. How can I stop my own update mails.
P.S- I want to receive other user activity mails.
By the way, this is a global setting but what you configure in your profile is what counts. If any other user still receive their own notifications after you change yours, they'll also need to change their configuration.
Go into your profile and check for the "email me on my own changes" flag - i suspect it is set to "yes"
