Mengmeng Yu June 8, 2022

Hi team,

Does anyone know where can I find below info of jira?

The Entity ID of your application (URL or URI);
The URL/endpoint that the token should be submitted back to (redirect URL);
The application metadata (xml format) if available;
Attributes required and corresponding assertion names / format.

These are questions that could have different answers depending on what system is asking them.

What are you trying to do exactly?

I can find  below two items from jira application as you can see from picture

The Entity ID of your application (URL or URI);
The URL/endpoint that the token should be submitted back to (redirect URL);

The application metadata (xml format) if available;
Attributes required and corresponding assertion names / format.

I don't know what app you are using on the Jira side, and you haven't told us what your identity provider is.  So, no, I can't begin to guess what the answers might be.

Hi Nic,

I want to configure SAML single sign on on jira application.

And the Identity provider is ADFS.

However , after I configured, it shows me No license installed,

I already configured X.509 certificate provided by identity provider as picture shows.

What kind of license it refers to here?

Any idea?

So

1) Again, what are you doing on the Jira side?

2) But that's half answered by the other part of the question - you are using an app (so which one?), and you have not got a valid licence for it.

You'll need to get a licence for the app before you go any further
