Hi all,

The JIRA global permissions only allows me to add a group.   We are connected through A/D LDAP and the groups are done through that.  I need to add a set of users to global permissions is there anyway to do that?

Thanks in Advance,

Robert

The best way around this is to use Roles for permissions in JIRA

Can't you create another group other than the ones existing in LDAP, add your desired users there and use that group instead?

That would be nice. When use go through LDAP you get this message: You cannot add user 'xyz' to group 'grouppname'. The user's directory is read only.
