is it possible to auto-populate an older release date

users of JIRA 7.3 server.

we have a situation where we want to capture all the release end dates. when some one changes the end date from X to Y, we want that to be captured for all the issues in that release.

Is this possible with a custom field. if so, please advise on how

Hi SN,

There is this plugin which gives you Scripted Fields. You can inject your own script into this field which to listen to Issue Updated event and process the data afterward to get the historical data of the custom field and stores it into the custom field.

You can find some additional information from:

• Copy value of custom field to another field when updated
• Update custom field every time another field is updated
