import jira ondemand and 500 technical error messages.

Simon Loader March 12, 2015

every time I import the JIRA ondemand seems to crashes and asks me to login again.

  1. I can no longer login
  2. Going back to the main page shows 500 technical error with skull and cross bones.
  3. I am following the https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/Cloud/Importing+Issues#ImportingIssues-Procedure.1  to do it.

Eventually someone must rest something as it goes back to a blank JIRA instance.

Hi Simon,

It looks as there is actually a problem with the import. My suggestion would be to open a request on https://support.atlassian.com so that our Support team can take a deeper look into it (please also attach the logs from your JIRA server instance if you can).

My only advice right now would be to try to log in using the 'sysadmin'/'sysadmin' account that is created by default when you import the backup from Cloud into Server.

Cheers

This is using ondemand / cloud. Im going from our servers into the cloud not from the cloud into fixed servers.

But I have raised a ticket, unfortunately as they are atlassins servers I have no access to the logs of the sysadmin account.

Ah, got it. Then indeed our support is the best way to get this working as soon as possible. :)
