implementing JIRA on Linux platform

Hi Experts,

I have implemented JIRA on windows with different databases. but i dont see a mechanism to take autobackup and restore in postgre SQL. does anyone know backup and restore in JIRA with postgre

If you want to move JIRA from one server platform to another (e.g. Windows to Linux) I recommend following Atlassian's server move documentation provided here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/IQECCQ

Typically what you'll need to do is perform an XML export from your Windows instance and import that into your Linux environment.
