how to setup proxy for outbound connections to Internet in a JIRA server

I'm reading a bit 'of documentation, but it is not clear how to solve the problem. to confluence I had to set the parameters of my proxy file catalina.properties, but for JIRA as you do?

thanks, I have resolved, although it was necessary to understand why java does not accept the parameters, I then discovered that it took "|" in the Directive which is indicated on the page that I've reported.
