how to see the project lead in the jira search?

Andres Velasco June 25, 2015

Hi, my organization is getting the release notes from Jira, we built a query to get the list of items that are being deployed at the end of the sprint so we can inform business. The problem we are facing is that if business have questions for an specific item they don't know who to contact, so we want to include the project lead as a column on this report.

Is there a way to show the project lead as a column in the issue search window? or to pull this info to Excel?

Thanks,

Another possibility that doesn't require scripting is Profields: with it you will have a project function in your JQLs that allows to search for any project information, either a Jira native field like the Lead or a Profields field.

Full disclosure: I work for Profields' manufacturer, DEISER

You can do this only by creating a calculated field or a scripted field using plugins like this scriptrunner.
