Is it possible to search in a Jira custom label-field with wildcards like "Label1.*" or "Label1.?.0"

I am afraid that is not possible. There is an open improvement request being tracked at:

* JRA-23038

This issue is closed meanwhile, unfortunately with the decision that it will not be implemented.

Does anybody know a plugin that can do this?
