how to restrict a customfield on greenhopper new card window ?

I want to restrict options of multiselect customfield on greenhopper "New Card" pop-up window using some javascript/jQuery.

Is that possible ? If yes, how to proceed?

Are you trying to hide the field when you view the card on the board itself ? you can configure the fields you view refer https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AGILE/Configuring+the+Issue+Detail+View

No, actually I want to display it on New card page, but need to restrict options based on logged-in-user by injecting some kind of script.

This should get invoked when

New card page is opened by pressing New Card button,

after pressing Create button on New Card,

also when Issue types in the New Card gets changed.
