Moving means the issue was not created in the right project at first place.

Better to create a linked issue and copy the fields.

Thanks for the reply!

We plan to have for each product, 1 elevated Case project wand 1 project for defects and other entities.

We have the following use case
1 support L2 Guy creates a case C1 in elevated case project
THen when it is analyzed be CPE/L3 and acknowledged it is a product defect,
L3 creates a defect (A Bug) with common information with the Cases.
and then he links the case and the BUG.

To do this, we though to the following procedure:
1- Clone the Case in the Elevated Case (EC) project
2 - Move the cloned issue:
- from the EC project to the Defect project
- from Elevated Case Type to Bug Type

An also, Teams are finding this procedure heavy.
Would we have the possibility to implement an action/ a menu / a button,
which when clicking it, it would execute the steps described above in once?

Is it possible through the workflow post function??
