Rahul Arora August 14, 2014

I have seen JIRA view issue screen has activity section which shows comments, transitions, history, commits etc. Is it possible to make the view for those tabs selective for the users.

You can do it when you write your own panels of course, you can embed visibility code in them.

But you can't hide the existing ones.

Some plugins provide panels with visibility code, but that's up to them and only applies for those plugins.

Hi Rahul,

Unfortunately this is not possible in JIRA. There was also a change request for this.

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-11541

You might have to look at any add-ons that are capable of providing you this feature but I am not aware of any.

Note, when you create comments, you can set the visibility to certain groups.

Cheers

Bhushan
