how to change the values of a field depending on the selection of another field

Hello

i am newbie in Jira uses. I would like to propose a list of values depending of the selected value in another field.

Ex : Field A : A, B, C,..

Field B values :

If A is selected in field A ==>1,2,3

If B is selected==>4,5,6

...

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

There is a custom field type called "Select list (cascading)," which does exactly what you're looking for, but all in one field. The field consists of two dropdown menus - whatever you select in the first dropdown menu controls the values which are available in the second dropdown menu.

Here's where you can find the custom field type when creating a new custom field:

many thanks, it works fine.

Sincerly.
