how to avoid an Epic to get Sprints allocated against it?

Joana Moraes April 26, 2022

if in an hypothetical scenario an issue is modified from Task to Epic, how to avoid the Epic to carry the previous Tasks sprints on it?

in carrying the sprints, Epics will start to appear on Scrum Sprint boards, what is not the intent of this issuetype

in Epic carrying the sprints previously allocated to the task (original issuetype modified), how to remove the sprints from the Epic (Epic card & views does not allow sprints to be edited)?
