how to add data in the user profile

Hi,

I know we can add data via the properties in the user profile but is there a way to get these data in the reporting?

Indeed, to avoid customer to add data like region or department every time they log in to create an issue, I would like to add these data in their profile. The problem is that I can't retrieve them for the reporting.

how can we write a new post-function? is there a plugin to download letting to write a script or things like that ?

If you write a custom post function to read the user's property when the issue is created, you could put that data in the issue. You could also write a custom field that indexes the user's property.
