The time it takes for a back-up to get created is highly dependant on the amount of data present on the instance.
If you do not see clear progress in the back-up creation, or it appears to be stuck, please contact Atlassian Support so they can have a look at your instance.
Christine and Michael - Have either of you run a JIRA cloud export and has any clarity been found regarding duration? I'm running an export now of what I belive to be a very small instance (only 1,000 tickets and two projects), but its been running now for 40 min and the progress wheel is just spinning and says "Estimated progress: unknown". Thanks, Tim
