how can i set value for issue from his parent with Automation for JIRA?

when i opened bug, sub-bug i want to set a value to the sprint and epic name\link filed from there parent.

for example:

story A - belong to sprint #2, epic name= test

when i open a bug or sub bug under this story i want them to have also the same value for  sprint=sprint 2 and epic name= test like there parent ( story A)

You won't be able to do that - sprint and Epic name and link are specific field types that do not exist on sub-tasks and can't be added.  The best you can do is copy their data into other fields.

Hi Avi,

Sadly I think Nic is right regarding the sprint and epic fields and sub-tasks.

This answer provides some more details on how to copy fields with Automation for JIRA for related issues:

Further, this answer shows you how to create a Story in an Epic using Automation for JIRA: (it shows how to set the epic link)

That answer copies fields to linked issues, but you can use the same 'Related issues' action to copy fields from parent -> subtask and vice versa.

Hope that helps!
