h2db corrupted, anything i can do ?

Kai Fröhlich May 12, 2017

Hi community,

we're using JIRA with h2 database. (yes. i know.. not a good idea)

cause of insufficient memory the Databasefile corrupted.

2017-05-04 08:55:04,387 http-nio-8085-exec-6 ERROR      [NoModule] Could not determine database type.

org.h2.jdbc.JdbcSQLException: File corrupted while reading record: "C:/Program Files/Atlassian/Application Data/JIRA/database/h2db.mv.db". Possible solution: use the recovery tool [90030-185]

org.h2.message.DbException: General error: "java.lang.IllegalStateException: Chunk 1528696 is invalid [1.4.185/6]" [50000-185]

we've allready tried to fix the problem with the recoveryTool,
but also had no luck.

org.h2.tools.Recover Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalStateException: Chunk 1528696 is invalid [1.4.185/6]

there is no Backup available.

Just in case i miss something... but is there any way to restore the data?

i guess not.

Thanks

Kai

I'm afraid that is probably not fixable.

Are you sure you have no backups?  Have a look under <jira home>/export

Thank you!
i wasn't aware that
Jira exports its Data on its own into /export .

i've got therefore an Backup.
