getting error while creating issue " Error creating issue: You are restricted from initializing this workflow"

we recently upgraded jira version 4.4 to version 5.2. once after upgrading to version5.2 . we could not able to create one particular issue type which has its own workflow associate with it. we are getting this error when we tried to create the issue "Error creating issue: You are restricted from initializing this workflow" . This wan't the issue before upgrade. is it due to compatability or any other issue ?

Hi Nisha,

I believe there is a condition/validator/post-function on the create Issue transition that is causing this issue. You'll probably see some strange formatting words when viewing this transition, like: com.opensymphony.workflow.util.OSUserGroupCondition
