filter issues that were Bugs but were changed to Story

I want to be able to create a filter to Identify my Project issues that were created as a bug but then changed to a story or task.

You can do that with the help of an add-on like JQL Tricks, if you are on the server version.

I dont thik the system history tracks Issue Type history. 

Your going to need to label or find some piece of info specific to those issues that you can use to parse them from the others...like a created date or if they are assigned to you.
