field remains after moving ticket

Robin DiNunzio May 11, 2015

I am attempting to move a ticket from a project that contains the "Priority" field to a project that doesn't. However, upon completion of the move, the Priority field remains. Is there something I can do to prevent this? Thanks.

"Priority" is a System Field and it is present on all tickets (just like the Summary and Description). Creating a ticket with no priority set will just have the default value.

Thank you! Wish there was a way to hide it!

You change that by creating a dummy priority, make it the default then delete it. Now there is no default priority

Try setting the field "hidden" in the field configuration for the project.  That should minimise the amount of priority you see.
