MySQL for me. Not because it is better than PostGreSQL, but simple familiarity. I have a nagging doubt that Post is slightly better, but most of the systems I encounter are MySQL, so that's what I reach for first. Oracle is in a distant third place, and MS-SQL is last resort, only to be used when the client has no other database skills in house. I'd like to use some of the NoSQL variants, but don't, because Atlassian only support the big four.
