delete only own issues

Hi,

Is there way in JIRA cloud if i can enable permission to assign user to delete only issues created by self and not by others ?

You can use "reporter" in the "delete issue" permission in the permission scheme.

Two points though

• If someone can change the reporter, they can take control of the issue and delete it
• Delete means it.  The issue is gone and you can't get it back.  Delete permission should be very limited or, in most cases, simply not granted at all.

Would this same option work for jira-server?  I am trying to find a way to allow users to delete their own issues and not other peoples issues.
