dealing with users that are created during import from FogBugz

I imported some FogBugz projects into JIRA and a bunch of user accounts were created. What do I need to do to active those accounts so those users can log in and use JIRA?

You'll need to go to Administration > Application Access and allow those users in to each application individually. (Or, you could try using Bulk Application Access if you know they have certain properties in common, like the same groups.) After that, your users should be able to log in provided they don't have other user/group restrictions keeping them from logging in.
