custom field to an external link / document at internal file system

I would like to add a custom field entering a clickable link to a document at the internal file system and open it.

Any idea? The link type works only with external web sites etc.

Hello Jens unfortunately there are some issues to local Links from within Jira's file system. This link explains how it happens and it also provides a workaroud for it. Tell me if that works!

thanks for the hint. Yes, this works.

The only drawback is, that someone has to do it for every computer and has the security issue.

Just remember that you can make a feature request on JAC an if it gets enough votes it can be implemented.
