changing jira description, custom fields' color, etc properties

Hi,

I want to change field color or highlight the contents of the following fields : description, 1 custom field, similar issues field coming from suggetimate plugin in order to differentiate or emphasize their differences. This should apply to the past issues, too.

Is it possible?

You will need to add custom javascript to customize the fields , refer https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Fields+Allowing+Custom+HTML+or+JavaScript

There are plenty of javascript examples available on Answers and Confluence
