Hi
We are running with LDAP authentication and a problem we are facing is that when a new user tries to login Jira creates a new account with Upper-case but when we create users manually we need to create them with lower-case. So a user created with lower-case sometimes get a duplicate user account created with upper-case.
Usually this is easy to fix by just deleting the upper-case user but now the user had some shared filters and dashboards which makes it impossible just to delete the duplicate user account. How can I remove this upper-case user that now owns some shared filters and dashboards?
Hey,
in JIRA 5 as an administrator you can chage the ownership of dashboards. In your case you could reassign the dashboard to your "lower-case case" user and delete the user afterwards.
