can we make subtasks to close in sequential order Jira

Hi All,

We have a parent task which is associated with sub-tasks. We would like to know if there is a way in JIRA to enforce that within a parent task the sub-tasks have to be closed in a certain order? For example, Parent Task A has Sub-tasks Sub-Task 1,Sub-Task 2 ,Sub-task 3 etc.,

we are trying to identify a way where sub-task 1 must be closed before sub-task 2 and so on ..

Any information provided will be helpful.

Thanks,

Vijay

You will have to write a plugin to do that. Maybe a workflow condition to check the subtask status using the order.
