can i configure JIRA to recieve emails and create issues

we currenlty don't have POP or IMAP as part of our configuration and were wondering if we could just use the internal JIRA POP IMAP servers to accept emails as in

help@altiused.atlassian.net

or something like that

There are no POP/IMAP servers built into Jira.

I don't know that Atlassian have POP or IMAP servers available to use with OnDemand - you'd need to ask them directly.
