can I update Jira so that field changes to Amber for the last month of Support and then Red when Support has expired ?

Dear All,  can I update Jira so that field called 'Contract Expiry Date:' changes to Amber for the last month of Support and then Red when Support has expired.  Is there any way to make a field even more visual?

No, there is no way to accomplish this out of the box. You could use add-ons that allow customs fields, perhaps.
