can I edit and save back an attached office document in Jira SW

I've  attached an office document to an issue in Jira SW. Can I open it for edit and save back to JIRA?

JIRA don't have native support for office document 'web editing'. So your only choice for now is to download the file, make your edits then upload it again (you may have to delete the old attached document). A known limitation is a JIRA issue will allow same name attachments. You may also want to vote for this issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-5963.
