building an automation for insight based on date field

Hi , 

I'd like to build an automation that runs on a cron expression every week to query devices on my insight that are more then 3 years old , 

is there an option to query this using the automation conditions on the global automation? ,

Hi @Ron Aisen -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

First thing: I am not using Insight and so my suggestion is based on what I understand about automation rules...not Insight's IQL.

If you can create a JQL/IQL statement to find the objects, perhaps try using a Scheduled Trigger on the issues: https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-automation-triggers/#Scheduled

If the IQL does not work with the Scheduled trigger, perhaps instead use the trigger without JQL/IQL and then use it in a branch as the documentation describes IQL is supported for those: https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-automation-branches/
