We have a custom workflow and I want to know how to auto-assign an issue to a user as part of moving to the next stage. Currently a user clicks to progress the isue to a particular stage and then also needs to reassign the issue to the relevant user. Is it possible to automate this?
Also is it possible to move an issue through a workflow by replying to the email notification? eg an exec receives a notification and they can simply reply "approved" or some other keyword to move the issue to a specific stage?
For our Final Review step, we assign the issue to the Reviewer which is a simple change to make. You can do things like assigning the issue to someone in a certain role.
You should also be able to setup a script to do the assignment if one of the canned macros don't work for you.
