Hello everyone
Is there a possibility to appoint a deputy in Jira or Atlassian in general? This person should then receive notifications over a certain period of time.
Or is there a other idea how to manage a deputy function.
So we use Jira filter subscriptions to manage critical Jiras and overall stats, and I find it works pretty well for us.
We create filters based on specific needs, like a filter for today's overdue blockers. The individual in charge will receive these filter results via email either daily or weekly, and these emails will be automatically forwarded to individual managers and/or the broader team, everyone shall check that email when they receive it, if I see my name on that filter list, I should really look at my over-due Jira now.

Hello @Daniel Inderbinen
Can you provide more information about this "deputy" function? Who would appoint a deputy? What level of access would that person have? Please describe your use case in more detail.

Hey @Trudy Claspill
Sure...
A Jira User get a lot of Notifications, for example when he is added to a Ticket, Workflow or named on a Page.
If this employee is on vacation or has other absences, it would be an advantage if someone else received this information.

Thank you for that clarification.
I don't think there is currently a function like that built in to Jira.
You could have the vacationing user set up rules in the email client to forward emails from your Jira system to another user.
