We have a customer, that wants to set up a JIRA Service Desk Server in Germany. Is it possible to access the service desk form china? We are unsure because of the china firewall (Golden Shield Project).
Sometimes. Sadly, the firewall is a constantly updated system which may suddenly block, or unblock any particular route. I've had clients using Atlassian stuff for months and suddenly lose access, and vice-versa - complex data transfers or routing around it suddenly becomes unnecessary.
Your only decent option is generally to talk to the people who will be using it in China and ask them!
