Zephyr plugin - Loading the test steps hangs


We have Zephyr installed in our JIRA instance (6.3.1) and the test issue never loads the steps, it hangs forever. There are no error in the logs as well. May I know how to resolve this?

We need some additional information to help you out on this issue.

Is this a fresh installation of Zephyr for JIRA?

Have you done redexing of both JIRA and Zephyr for JIRA respectively post installation, if not please do so.

Does the test step never load for any of the issue or a specific issue?

Could you please provide a screenshot of this you are facing.

Hello @Bibek Behera , Thanks for the reply. Below are the answers to the questions: 1. This is not a fresh installation of zephyr 2. We reindex Jira every weekend, never done it for Zephyr separately, do we need to do that as well? 3. So far our client has reported for only this issue and also there is a catch here. Apparently, there are 1000 steps created for this test issue, but the client say they have only created 3 steps, am not sure how can this blow up to 1000 all by itself. Do you see any possibilities for that? 4. Attaching the screen shot.

Hello Hemanth,

It is suggested to reindex both JIRA and Zephyr for JIRA after every major changes made in the JIRA instance. This makes sure that there are no further issue related to data indexing.
Could you please do JIRA reindex and post that Zephyr reindexing.

Hi @Bibek Behera , We have reindexed both Jira and Zephyr and still it doesn't solve the problem and the issue steps never loads. There are no errors as well in the logs.
