Hi,
I just extended the classic workflow for Jira tasks for two additional status and some additional transitions. See picture below:
However, for older tasks some of the transitions do not appear in the menu, although the tasks are totally the same exept for the date they were created. See next two pictures.
Without additional transitions:
With additional transitions:
Note: Both tasks are the same in the same projekt except that one task was created before the change of the workflow.
Do we need to perform any kind of refresh to get to see all possible transitions within older tasks, that were created before the extention of the workflow?
Thank you for your answers.
Hi Ricardo,
I published the changes and just performed a reindex. Unfortunatly, still only newly created tasks show all transistions.
Any other ideas?
The strange thing is, I use the same worklow for another project where all older tasks show the new transitions as designed.
Cheers.

Hi NicBo
Check if you published the workflow changes and attempt a reindex after that. So in that case, please follow these steps:
Log in as a user with the 'JIRA Administrators' global permission.
Choose the cog icon at top right of the screen, then choose System. Select Advanced > Indexing to open the 'Re-Indexing' page.
Select *Lock JIRA and rebuild index*,
Click *Re-index*

No, there's no refresh or anything needed. Once you've said "use workflow X for project Y, issuetype Z" that's it, it'll use that workflow.
Start by checking the conditions on the two "put on" transitions.
