Workflow scheme changed. Now Backlog is empty. How to restore the backlog?

Christof Burkard August 16, 2017

For my project I changed the workflow scheme from simple software (ToDo, InProgress, Done) to Jira default (Open, InProgress, Resolved, Reopened, Closed).

All went fine. the issues have been changed correctly, but the Backlog and the sprint contents are now empty.

How can I restore them?

I'm using:

Atlassian JIRA Project Management Software (v7.3.8)

Hi Christof

I hope that this helps you.

As a board Admin, go to Board Settings and then Columns. On the right hand side there is a section titled Unmapped Statuses which I'm hoping has a number of items in it. These need to ALL be dragged and dropped into the columns

Thank You.

That helped.

I could adapt the configuration and now everything is fine.

Check the board filter too - your workflow change may have dropped the selection of your issues out.

Thank You for your help.

In my case it could be resolved with the help given by Warren Levy.
