Workflow Post Function for alerting Component Lead?

Hi,

The use case I have is that in a change request we will include a group of issues which may or may not relate to multiple components. When a Change Request is being submitted to change control the creator will add 1 or more components that are part of the change. I would like to send an email to the Component Lead once it reaches a certain transition however I do not see a post function allowing this.

Any native or add-on ability to achieve this? Or am I stuck with just having it email at the creation of the issue?

You achieve this by adding a custom event and firing that event in the required transition. And making an entry in notification scheme for this event and adding Component Lead to it.
