Will upgrading the JIRA license without upgrading the "Timesheet Reports and Gadgets" license prevent historical reporting.

Alden Lee March 12, 2014

We are planning on upgrading our jira license from 100-users to 500-users, and switching our time-tracking from "JIRA Timesheet Reports and Gadgets" to Tempo. If we don't upgrade our timesheet plugin, will we still be able to generate reports based on previously entered data, or will we lose access to that data?

Hi Alden,

"JIRA Timesheet Reports and Gadgets" does not store any timetracking data, so you will not loose anything.

Hope it helps.

That does help, thank you. Can you tell me what table(s) it gets stored in? (Or is it documented somewhere, so I don't waste your time)

JIRA timetracking is stored in WORKLOG table, though if you were using Tempo already, there might be more info stored elsewhere, you should ask Tempo for this.
