Will the test cases stored in GitHub repo be visible in Jira Software Story assuming that JiraCloud is integrated with GitHub as mentioned in the below link.

Hello Mohajit,

Thank you for reaching out.

Basically, you will be able to see branches, commit messages and pull requests from Github directly in the Development panel of JIRA issue view.

I'm not sure what you mean by "test cases" and what kind of file it is, but I believe that the development tools added to JIRA when you integrate with GitHub will display a link to the relevant Repository, but not the content itself.

I suggest you try the integration in a test environment and give us more details of your current target with the integration of both applications, so we can give you more details that might help you. :)

Hey!

Sorry @Petter Gonçalves, I know this thread is a few years old.

I'd also need a way to link a specific file inside a pull request with Jira somehow.

Preferably, when I open a pull request containing test files, have these files linked to Jira.

Do you know if there's any possibility to have this level of integration?

Many thanks!
