As part of creating a new workflow - When I create a custom field, I don't see it in the Administration>Issue>Fields list sometimes. For one of the custom fields, I see it in the list but don't see the option of configure/edit/delete etc., For one of the custom field, the name in Administration>Issue>Fields list>Name shows a different name in Administration>Issue>Fields list>Edit>Custom Field Name.
I have done the indexing several times but of no use.
Forget the workflow to begin with, that's nothing to do with fields (directly)
The behaviour you have sounds very wrong. What type of custom field is it? Does your log have any errors or field related warnings?
