Why is portfolio showing past sprints?

John Smith April 20, 2017

If i'm not mistaken, I think it's showing a past sprint from June of last year but i'm not sure why. I'm only working with one sprint which is for this month.

How can i see the work that was already completed in the previous sprints of the current release? Currently portfolio shows only the current and future sprints.

That date that you are seeing at the lower left of the schedule view is related to a specific "Release", not necessarily specific sprint.  Once you have stories schedule into sprints (either explicitly scheduled on a board, or predictively scheduled by the portfolio algorithm), they will show up as alternately shaded columns in the schedule.

Use the schedule settings under the “gear” to select viewing as sprints.

On the filters bar, you may need to explicitly set a date range to bring your sprints into view – there is not always enough context to have the schedule view default to a reasonable time frame.
