Why is an Epic shown in an active sprint scrum board

Klaus UNGER March 29, 2016

I do have an epic, which was created accidentally as a user story and later on converted, which now appears as an epic on the active sprint board view in the status-columns?

In my understanding epics should only appear in the (foldable) epic list on the left (close to versions).

I believe this happens, because the issue has a "genetic" polymorphic memory as it was historically created as user story.

Any hints welcome.

Did you add that Epic into a sprint? Maybe when it was a story? If so, remove the sprint from the Epic and that should take it away from the Active Sprints.

I also happen to me, probably because this epic was once a story and I changed the type. did you find a way to hide it?
