Why is Jira so slow today?

Why is Jira so slow today?

Jira has been running espeically slow for my organization as of lately. Today especially so.

What is causing this? Is there anything we can do to improve the speed?

Cloud has been extremely slow for us today as well and has been continuing to degrade rendering JIRA essentially unusable at the moment.

Same here but we reindexed and it did help considerably.

Seems like re-indexing all our projects has fixed the issue...not sure what happened that caused this though...
