Why does timesheet not show who logged a "work log" in JIRA?

Kenneth Sarita August 15, 2017

Whenever someone logs a "work log"in JIRA, instead of showing the user's name, it just says "Timesheet".

The same applies as well when you recieved an email notification about the action done.

Username just says "Timesheets".

Work Log Description just says "time-tracking".

Hi Kenneth

This has something to do with a change that Tempo are making (have made?) with where they store their data. I believe that it was being stored in it's own database, but they're changing to it being stored in the Jira database - the changeover was expected to take quite a few weeks. You could try to reindex Jira - quite a few times in the last few weeks when I go into Tempo (and I'm an Admin) I get a message suggesting I do a Reindex

Hi @Warren,

We tried re-indexing it as you have suggested but unfortunately, the issue is still apparent :(
