I am hosting my own instance of Jira and Service Desk, running on ports 8082 (http) and 8443 (https).
The https service is using a PFX keystore file, type PKCS12 if that's relevant at all.
My problem is that, although I can access the server from outside my own network, as can most of my customers, one customer can access the http site, but whenever they try the https site they get "server refused the connection" or some such thing (they run Sophos web safety which comes up with a "Forbidden" message).
I can't see it being a firewall issue, as the firewall rules are the same for all the ports in use.
All help gratefully received :)
This is pretty much the configuration of the Sophos web safety software - it's been told, on their machine, to block your https site.
Thanks Nic. I was sure that was the case, since it works fine for everyone else.
I just went back to the customer and said it was definitely their problem and if they want their data secure (they do, it's Police stuff) then they need to sort it out.
Given the right incentive, they had it sorted in 15 minutes :)
Cheers for the help!
