Hi,
I created a new project in which I forgot to use our customized issue screen, so it took the default screen. The start date was set to 06/17/20, even though I created the task in October 12th 2020.
I then switched to the customized issue screen in which I have the "due date" as one of the fields. I then tried to update both fields (start date to a particular day last week in the due date a date at the end of this week), but after a few seconds the dates are reverted back to 06/17/20 (even before I refresh the page).
There are no dependencies on these issues, so I really don't have a clue why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated. If you need any additional info, please let me know.
Thanks!

Hi Art,
I would check to see if there is some type of automation that is setting the dates. You could look at the history of the card to see "who" is changing the value.
But if it is happening real time in the screen then I am suspicious of a default value for the field being set somewhere. But since Due Date and Start Date are "system" fields, that wouldn't be possible. Unless you have created custom fields for those functions.
Hi John,
Thank you for your time and your suggested solution. I found out the problem was that I had set up a top to bottom alignment of dates for this project in particular. I fixed that by going back to bottom to top.
Thanks,
Art
